The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Gallardo in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 54 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Clocheret. Gavino Afonso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Vanderstraeten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Gallardo in the 69th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gavino Afonso, 2-3. Adrogue FC made a substitution. Laureano Vergaray replaced Marcelo Gallardo. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 2-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Afonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
