But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Borowski couldn't finish the play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Borowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Bruno Bastos got a free kick in the 14th minute. Karol Borowski struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Potrero. In the 27th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Arendarski having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C. A. Potrero! With a little luck, C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Emil Arendarski made a huge save. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Abarca in the 61st minute of the match. Mauro Abarca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Borowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute, Karol Borowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Potrero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The supporters of C. A. Potrero booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match C. A. Potrero got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulises Bernad ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ulises Bernad made a great header on C. A. Potrero's corner, it was just that Portugal's Wilson Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. Mateusz Marajda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Borowski in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
