Simbo FC's Nestor Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tincho Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tincho Palermo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, one of Simbo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Simbo FC. Felipe Barreto shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 66 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Mías Khalifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Mías Khalifa made a huge save. If Nestor Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura.
