Italy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simbo FC the free kick. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 96th minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Mías Khalifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Simbo FC throughout the match.
