Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Norman Brent got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Tris Townsley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guus Zalm was relentless in the 2nd minute of the game. 5 minutes into the match, CAFC1905's goal looked a bit too open when Paddy Woolcock came free, but Guus Zalm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tris Townsley in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guus Zalm saved CAFC1905 from getting behind. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by CAFC1905's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tris Townsley was slow to take the kick. During this time England's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Marty Driver got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guus Zalm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 8th minute, Ray Titmuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guus Zalm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paddy Woolcock in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, CAFC1905's goal looked a bit too open when William Rigg came free, but Guus Zalm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute William Rigg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guus Zalm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guus Zalm was a little too slow when Tris Townsley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. The England fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when England's William Rigg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marty Driver struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Guus Zalm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paddy Woolcock in the 38th minute of play forced CAFC1905's goalkeeper Guus Zalm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. England's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tris Townsley in the 39th minute. The corner led to England's David Beckham Jr getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Guus Zalm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Rigg in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

England's Shaun Lucas was substituted for David Beckham Jr. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Rigg to strike the kick off in the second half. Guus Zalm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Rigg in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the CAFC1905 defense, Marty Driver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guus Zalm. The CAFC1905 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guus Zalm should have stopped the shot. Guus Zalm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Rigg, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, England's Tris Townsley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guus Zalm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. England made a substitution. Nial Peyton replaced William Rigg. James Novak made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Albert Fitzgerald sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nial Peyton in the 75th minute of play forced CAFC1905's goalkeeper Guus Zalm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guus Zalm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nial Peyton, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Marty Driver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marty Driver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, CAFC1905's goal looked a bit too open when Tris Townsley came free, but Guus Zalm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Marty Driver managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty Driver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guus Zalm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CAFC1905 made a substitution. Seth Ealham replaced Daniel Parkin. Guus Zalm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nial Peyton's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The supporters of England booed when CAFC1905 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Arshavin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregory Tompkins hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nial Peyton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guus Zalm was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Marty Driver got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guus Zalm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. England had played much better football throughout.
