But to his dismay, Jorrin Briones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pipis Karapatakiss short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Ferenc Tököli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jorrin Briones might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jardel Sanches. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorrin Briones ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorrin Briones in the 11th minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorrin Briones blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jardel Sanches having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Jardel Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferenc Tököli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino Cabral in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Filiph Biörling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Tököli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Berger got free with Ferenc Tököli in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorrin Briones in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jardel Sanches saved Grêmio FBPA from getting behind. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jorrin Briones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jardel Sanches made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Biörling came free, but Ferenc Tököli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pipis Karapatakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferenc Tököli having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pipis Karapatakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Berger in the 54th minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Jorrin Briones got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jardel Sanches was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Biörling in the 62nd minute of play. Jorrin Briones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Sanches having to interfere. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jerrold Taranco was substituted for Luís Paulo da Fonseca. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Cristiano Salah was substituted for Jorrin Briones. If Cristiano Salah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerrold Taranco got free with Jardel Sanches in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Alberto Estevon got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jardel Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Salah in the 75th minute of the match. Ferenc Tököli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Biörling, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Biörling came free, but Ferenc Tököli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Grêmio FBPA's Filiph Biörling, in the 78th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio FBPA. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 86th minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferenc Tököli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches got control of the ball when Jerrold Taranco tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rapsodas Red Devils FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
