With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amílton Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of DongFeng Honda FC booed when Grêmio Meia Praia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Normando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amílton Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 肖思兴, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio Meia Praia's goalkeeper Amílton Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Luiz Gustavo Dante fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio Meia Praia's protests and gave Luiz Gustavo Dante a yellow card for diving instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Soeiro to make the kick off. A nice corner shot did that 顾冰夕 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amílton Dantas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th match minute, DongFeng Honda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 孔瑜威 to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 孔磊傲 in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Dantas saved Grêmio Meia Praia from getting behind. 孔磊傲 took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amílton Dantas. Amílton Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 83 minutes, 孔磊傲 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DongFeng Honda FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 孔磊傲 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 韩然鸿's late challenge caught a Grêmio Meia Praia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 韩然鸿 helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to DongFeng Honda FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. 韩然鸿 hit a great ball. A hard shot 90 in the game by 孔磊傲 from a close distance when the talented Amílton Dantas managed to make a qualified save. Grêmio Meia Praia's players were relieved. After 92 minutes Grêmio Meia Praia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 肖思兴 who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Grêmio Meia Praia's goalie and right to 顾冰夕. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Grêmio Meia Praia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
