In the 40th minute, Erlantz Bermejo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D. Alcorcón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fire Devils's Edmílson Gaúcho was substituted for Zlatko Ibrahimović. The wind increased when Belo Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. Olaf Geiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belo Alvarez in the 52nd minute of play. An annoying self made goal, 4-2. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fire Devils's goalkeeper Olaf Geiger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Fire Devils defense, Erlantz Bermejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olaf Geiger. The Fire Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olaf Geiger should have stopped the shot. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Vornic in the 94th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Iosif Vornic. When the referee blew the final whistle, A.D. Alcorcón could leave the field as winners, despite Fire Devils having more of the ball for most of the match.
