In the 8th minute, Agustin Bidun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Universitario getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bonifacio Morentin hit a great ball. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Agustin Bidun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Universitario. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Matro Perramon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Oso in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Agustin Bidun hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Albino Oso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matro Perramon. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Agustin Bidun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matro Perramon having to make a save. Albino Oso struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Matro Perramon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Albino Oso made the kick off in the second half. If Albino Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Agustin Bidun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matro Perramon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Albino Oso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matro Perramon having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Bidun came free, but Matro Perramon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Gaston Beltza got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustin Bidun took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matro Perramon. Matro Perramon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Agustin Bidun took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matro Perramon. Matro Perramon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Matro Perramon came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Albino Oso. But to his dismay, Albino Oso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 90th minute Agustin Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matro Perramon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
