Fire Devils's Yuri Vilaverde quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zula Czerny, made in the 9th minute of the game. Zlatko Ibrahimović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ksawery Kiepski having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Ţurcaş came free, but Olaf Geiger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fire Devils's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gabriel Ţurcaş was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Białogard's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel Ţurcaş got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olaf Geiger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 18 minutes, Zlatko Ibrahimović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fire Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zlatko Ibrahimović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match Fire Devils got a corner. FC Białogard's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Giger ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zlatko Ibrahimović scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ksawery Kiepski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zlatko Ibrahimović struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ksawery Kiepski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fire Devils. Zlatko Ibrahimović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Kiepski having to interfere. Sven-Arne Bengtsson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Radoslaw Wojno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zlatko Ibrahimović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ksawery Kiepski made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zlatko Ibrahimović to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Dariusz Nalaskowski in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Białogard's Patryk Waselewicz.
