The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28thth minute of the game Pipis Karapatakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraná Clube Brasil's Biagio Furino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Grêmio FBPA's corner Alberto Estevon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Biagio Furino quite easily take care of the ball. Pipis Karapatakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giuseppe Prestes to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pipis Karapatakis in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Biagio Furino saved Paraná Clube Brasil from getting behind. In the 65th minute Filiph Biörling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Furino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Paraná Clube Brasil booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Rot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardel Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlindo Silveira's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The corner ended in Zé Pedro Prestes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches did a great save. In the 95th minute, Arlindo Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
