Fernando Celipe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. That made the score 5-0 in the 40 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, one of France:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for France. Gilberto Berdaitz's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Berdaitz helped the player get up and apologised. Gilberto Berdaitz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Franz Corral was substituted for Virgilio Marko. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ made a substitution. It was Ismael Larra who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ismael Larra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but France's Maxime Durand did a great save. 74 minutes into the match, Fernando Celipe notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Fernando Celipe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Celipe came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Celipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andriy Kaká hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
