Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Hungary's Major Barna to fire away a dangerous shot which Dagoberto Veiga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Dagoberto Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 28th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagoberto Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovanni Custódio to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Dagoberto Veiga in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Antal Valentin took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Dagoberto Veiga to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the match, Waldir Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldir Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Rafael Rosado was substituted for Vito Nóbrega. José Augusto Nóbrega struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SE Tijolo 6 Furos. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored SE Tijolo 6 Furos's protests and gave Osmar Donato a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, SE Tijolo 6 Furos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Donato to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Giovanni Custódio got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SE Tijolo 6 Furos throughout the match.
