TUSE's Krisztián Bartha got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Bertold Gyurkovics heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ferenc Szőllőssy was slow to take the kick. During this time TUSE's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in TUSE's zone, Ulrich Stein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fülöp Magos came out of the goal and Ulrich Stein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krisztián Bartha got free with Tommy Kahn in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Krisztián Bartha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krisztián Bartha in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the game, Krisztián Bartha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fülöp Magos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Bartha in the 67th minute of play. TUSE were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferenc Szőllőssy took the corner. After taking down the ball on TUSE's corner Ferenc Szőllőssy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertold Gyurkovics in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. If Bertold Gyurkovics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
