Rentería F's Juan Higuera got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander Higgins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Higuera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guter De Pablo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Alexander Higgins made a huge save. After 11 played minutes Juan Higuera rounded Scotland's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Scotland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Juan Higuera scored to the left of an out of position Alexander Higgins, making the score, 2-0. After 22 minutes, Guter De Pablo made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Scotland's Alexander Higgins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Scotland's Alexander Higgins got control of the ball when Guter De Pablo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Fletcher Main managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scotland's supporters rose to their feet, but Fletcher Main was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anakoz Blanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jack MacKinnon's late challenge caught a Rentería F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jack MacKinnon helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Jack MacKinnon. After 35 minutes of play, Rentería F's Guter De Pablo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Higgins was left in no man's land by his defense there! Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Higuera in the 42nd minute of play. Scotland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Guter De Pablo scored to the left of an out of position Alexander Higgins, making the score, 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zac O'Donnell to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Fletcher Main tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anakoz Blanco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Scotland getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Ashton Nelson hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Juan Higuera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rentería F fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Guter De Pablo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guter De Pablo in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Guter De Pablo notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Scotland's Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Rentería F's Nabucodonosor Reyes got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guter De Pablo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Higuera in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Higgins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Godfredo Sierra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Juan Higuera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Alexander Higgins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes, Ashton Nelson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scotland and the Rentería F players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Scotland's Ashton Nelson got a free kick in the 89th minute. When Rentería F's Guter De Pablo in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
