With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Caires in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Tallia Incera came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Jago Urquijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Caires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tallia Incera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jago Urquijo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, C.A. Husky's Jago Urquijo got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes C.A. Husky got a freekick which was hit by Che Camacho. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Jespersson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. C.A. Husky made a substitution. Victor Molin replaced Marcos Azofra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 91st minute of play forced C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Jago Urquijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Netherlands booed when C.A. Husky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Jespersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
