Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Eusko got free with Flavio Vittori in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deodato Magliozzi made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by STARK F.C.'s Alvaro Eusko. After 26 played minutes STARK F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Abajas. In the 29th minute, Alvaro Eusko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Vittori. The goal made the score 1-0. STARK F.C.'s Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of play. Porziano Marchitelli struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. In the 45th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deodato Magliozzi to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Eusko went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. STARK F.C.'s Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save STARK F.C. from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 75 minutes into the match, STARK F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Trent Alexander-Arnold hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The supporters of Italy booed when STARK F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eirik Bergerud didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, STARK F.C.'s 冯枫俊 got a free kick in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Curto in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The STARK F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
