Adam Olaru started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Pora in the 3rd minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Angelescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costica Vladimiri scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cazimir Angelescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cazimir Angelescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Olaru went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Laurențiu Pora struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Carol Stinga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hayalim Kedoshim. Cazimir Angelescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasvan Cristescu in the 35th minute of play forced Hayalim Kedoshim's goalkeeper Cazimir Angelescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Rasvan Cristescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cazimir Angelescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 38 minutes, Laurențiu Pora made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Romania's Carol Stinga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Olaru in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cazimir Angelescu saved Hayalim Kedoshim from getting behind. Costica Vladimiri scored 1-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cazimir Angelescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurențiu Pora was the one to do the kick off. Vasile Ciumak got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adam Olaru. Cazimir Angelescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Olaru in the 53rd minute of play. Cazimir Angelescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 56th minute of play. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Adam Olaru sped through Hayalim Kedoshim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cazimir Angelescu. Romania's Octavian Vaduva was substituted for Costica Vladimiri. The audience was convinced that Vladimiro Lauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carol Stinga was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Carol Stinga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiro Lauro went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Romania's Alexandru Pangratiu was substituted for Alex Serban. 77 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Stinga came free, but Cazimir Angelescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Alexandru Pangratiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romania played a much better game than Hayalim Kedoshim and deserved their victory. The Hayalim Kedoshim players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
