Wit Malewicz made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Belgium's Simon Sabbe. Simon Högberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Sabbe went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Roman in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Högberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Belgium booed when Wicher Wilchwy Come Back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Fafinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Högberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Edward Vanderstraeten slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 76th minute. Siebe Michiels came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Simon Högberg could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Tomasz Dziura put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Casper Claes. After 87 minutes, Tomasz Dziura made it 2-6 with a short kick to the right side. Belgium's Casper Claes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Högberg. Simon Högberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. With his leg Simon Högberg managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Belgium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belgium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
