But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Primeiro couldn't finish the play. After 10 minutes Poli Timisoara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kamilo Glik who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Wertian S Salvinorins's corner Kamilo Glik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ovidiu Adrian quite easily take care of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Wertian S Salvinorins's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Primeiro came free, but Boruc Perkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boruc Perkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartosz Erland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Poli Timisoara's Bartosz Erland in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Bartosz Erland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Bartosz Erland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Perkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Wertian S Salvinorins's goal looked a bit too open when Bartosz Erland came free, but Boruc Perkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes, Bartosz Erland made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wertian S Salvinorins's Boruc Perkowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Boruc Perkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Primeiro in the 43rd minute of play. Hugon Czciborek charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugon Czciborek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 47 minutes into the game, one of Wertian S Salvinorins:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Poli Timisoara a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adib Ovi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wertian S Salvinorins's Boruc Perkowski. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Primeiro to make the kick off. In the 60th minute Ryszard Kiepski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Adrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boruc Perkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Erland, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Bartosz Erland struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Boruc Perkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poli Timisoara. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Soner Şükür during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Soner Şükür hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartosz Erland in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boruc Perkowski saved Wertian S Salvinorins from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Lovecraft came free, but Ovidiu Adrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adib Ovi fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poli Timisoara's protests and gave Adib Ovi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wertian S Salvinorins booed when Poli Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adib Ovi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 80 in the game by Mauro Primeiro from a close distance when the talented Boruc Perkowski managed to make a qualified save. Wertian S Salvinorins's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartosz Erland in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boruc Perkowski saved Wertian S Salvinorins from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Kiepski in the 91st minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Ovidiu Adrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wertian S Salvinorins's Soner Şükür got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Soner Şükür off the ground. In the 92nd minute, Soner Şükür hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartosz Erland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Poli Timisoara's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
