In the 3rd minute Cristobal Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roque Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Donio, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Arnoldo Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nahuel Molina in the 7th minute of play. Roque Gabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Barbosa in the 8th minute of play. Igor Pandilovski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Arnoldo Ramirez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fausto Betadur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marcelo Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Concepcion del Uruguay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Figueroa couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Faro querandi's Arnoldo Ramirez threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Segundo Salvino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Elias Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Donio in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roque Gabon saved Faro querandi from getting behind. Roque Gabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Barbosa in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Segundo Salvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faro querandi's Roque Gabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Donio in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Faro querandi's Segundo Salvino got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute Cristobal Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Igor Pandilovski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Ramirez was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Concepcion del Uruguay FC made a substitution. Silvano Aires replaced Remigio Cisco. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristobal Donio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Odilon in the 57th minute of play forced Faro querandi's goalkeeper Roque Gabon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Concepcion del Uruguay FC's Elias Barbosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roque Gabon. Roque Gabon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After 68 minutes, Cristobal Donio made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Faro querandi's Roque Gabon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Segundo Salvino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Faro querandi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Concepcion del Uruguay FC the free kick. The supporters of Concepcion del Uruguay FC booed when Faro querandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Salvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Gabon having to interfere. Fausto Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Gabon having to interfere. Arnoldo Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Pandilovski in the 82nd minute of play. Roque Gabon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Iruinea in the 83rd minute. Concepcion del Uruguay FC's Arnoldo Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Salvino in the 86th minute of play. Segundo Salvino was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Roque Gabon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Severo Iruinea. Cristobal Donio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Roque Gabon made a huge save. After 96th play minutes Cristobal Donio shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Roque Gabon and just under the crossbar into goal.
