An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Xing Song in the 11th minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Lu Xing Song was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pégasus F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio FBPA the free kick. Lu Xing Song hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Umberto Cunha should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Pégasus F. C.'s Xande Sharkin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andréas Linquist. That made the score 5-2 after 94 minutes of play. Grêmio FBPA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pégasus F. C. for a fine match.
