Virgílio da Rocha took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carol Stinga. Carol Stinga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Virgílio da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgílio da Rocha in the 6th minute of play. Ragnar Björnberg hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Mala FC's Virgílio da Rocha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carol Stinga. Carol Stinga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Mala FC's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanda Cutov in the 21st minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes Mala FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adam Olaru who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Alex Serban to score against Allan Varela in Mala FC's goal. 2-1 after 25 minutes. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Olaru in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Mala FC's Virgílio da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carol Stinga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match Mala FC got a corner. Romania's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marian Gejda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sanda Cutov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Varela having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Olaru in the 39th minute of play forced Mala FC's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Virgílio da Rocha took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Carol Stinga to make any attempt to save it. Aílton Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgílio da Rocha made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Sanda Cutov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allan Varela. Sanda Cutov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Mala FC's Ricardo de Souza was substituted for Virgílio da Rocha. The shot was a little too simple and Allan Varela could save by the left post. Sanda Cutov kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Ricardo de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
