A very good chance. 俞希昆 hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 杜烨康 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 杜烨康 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. 杜烨康 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Skentzos in the 24th minute of play. 杜烨康 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wool United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wool United's 杜烨康 did a great save. 孙强庭 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 蔡悦彬 was slow to take the kick. During this time Wool United's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in 鲁战林 heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 杜烨康 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Wool United defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 杜烨康. The Wool United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 杜烨康 should have stopped the shot. In the 41st match minute, Wool United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 宋坚光 to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 俞希昆 during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 傅鹏适 in the 52nd minute of play. 杜烨康 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which 杜烨康 however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 傅鹏适 in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Wool United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 傅鹏适 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by 傅鹏适 in the 80th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, 孙强庭 made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. 84 minutes into the match, Wool United's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but 杜烨康 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 杜烨康 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
