Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tonico Tinoco made the kick off which started today's match. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonico Tinoco in the 6th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Horado having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Tonico Tinoco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Inter Miami CF's Rigoberto Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 19th minute of play. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonico Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Horado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 25 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonico Tinoco in the 26th minute of play. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Tonico Tinoco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Eli Nutil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Miami CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Eli Nutil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tonico Tinoco went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Inter Miami CF booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Vanderstraeten didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Lars Ek. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Lars Ek got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rigoberto Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 56th minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Javier Fridman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Miami CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Román Riquelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yves Dervaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rigoberto Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eli Nutil came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Inter Miami CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eli Nutil couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Joe Pancken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter Miami CF's Rigoberto Horado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Miami CF from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Nigel Devos put in a rough tackle. Yves Dervaux's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Horado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Javier Fridman hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Yves Dervaux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Fridman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Javier Fridman sped through Belgium's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
