The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheng Zhan Sheng in the 2nd minute of the match. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Raphael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Raul Caetano. The audience was convinced that Benito Raphael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The supporters of Portugal booed when White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Vâtcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mihăiţă Vâtcu hit a great ball. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Costin Jecu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Benito Raphael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benito Raphael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viriato Moura in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Jecu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Liviu Gogu scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 2-0. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Alfredo Curado made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Caetano Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costin Jecu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Costin Jecu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costin Jecu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 32nd minute of the match. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Graciano Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Raphael in the 43rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Costin Jecu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 44th minute of play. The wind increased when Benito Raphael made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Costin Jecu. The White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Costin Jecu should have stopped the shot. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costin Jecu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Costin Jecu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 61st minute of play forced White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Costin Jecu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes of play, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Cheng Zhan Sheng made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Felipe Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Barreto couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Benito Raphael notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Costin Jecu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Felipinho Amorim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Costin Jecu. That made the score 4-2 in the 82 minute of play. Costin Jecu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Raphael came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Costin Jecu in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheng Zhan Sheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Felipinho Amorim was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
