If Andres Calamaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Andres Calamaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Andres Calamaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Andres Calamaro came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Psycho-Circus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Calamaro couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Psycho-Circus defense, Albin Holweck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 邓真义. The Psycho-Circus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 邓真义 should have stopped the shot. After 12 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. The supporters of Germany booed when Psycho-Circus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 邓真义 saved Psycho-Circus from getting behind. After 23 minutes of play, Psycho-Circus's Claudio-Paul Caniggia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Psycho-Circus's Claudio-Paul Caniggia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 30 minutes into the game, Taniel Jaanovits threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Linus Schwerner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Salvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a Psycho-Circus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Claudio-Paul Caniggia scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The supporters of Psycho-Circus booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Calamaro in the 56th minute of the match. Claudio-Paul Caniggia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with 邓真义 in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Andres Calamaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Psycho-Circus's Isaias Serapio was substituted for Adolfo Salvino. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 95th minute of play. During the 96th minute of the match Adrian Dreifuss completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
