The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Hernán-Adrián Crespo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Rompelomo and the Czech Republic players grew even worse after the yellow card. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. If Nereo Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernán-Adrián Crespo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Vavrinec Holub 22 minutes into the match. Hernán-Adrián Crespo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vavrinec Holub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. C. A. Rompelomo's Franc Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Dostal in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bohumir Kohout hit a great ball. If Hernán-Adrián Crespo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. A. Rompelomo's Roberto-Jose Ayala got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán-Adrián Crespo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Hernán-Adrián Crespo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vavrinec Holub. The goal made the score 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, C. A. Rompelomo's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Dostal came free, but Franc Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Severiano Kimetz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Severiano Kimetz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Dostal during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Denis Dostal got a free kick in the 59th minute. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán-Adrián Crespo in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Alan Rezek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Rompelomo the free kick. Alan Rezek kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Nereo Rocendo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vavrinec Holub skillfully saved the ball. Mauro Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 76 minutes of play, C. A. Rompelomo's Hernán-Adrián Crespo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Hernán-Adrián Crespo made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Hernán-Adrián Crespo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernán-Adrián Crespo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernán-Adrián Crespo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After 93 minutes, Daniel Vitek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the C. A. Rompelomo players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C. A. Rompelomo had played much better football throughout.
