The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Napoleon Dziedelonis was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Eugenio Gabon made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Graciano Coutinho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Min got free with Wilson Amorim in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Min struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuberbühler FC. In the 26th minute, Zuberbühler FC's Marciano Min ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 32nd minute of play. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Miranda in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, one of Portugal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portugal. Portugal:s Wilson Amorim showed great skill when he stopped Saul Baumer:s penalty. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Napoleon Dziedelonis having to make a save. Napoleon Dziedelonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Napoleon Dziedelonis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Min. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Graciano Coutinho got a free kick in the 47th minute. Zuberbühler FC's Jonathan Iruinea was substituted for Marciano Min. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Baumer was the one to do the kick off. Napoleon Dziedelonis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 76th minute, Caetano Moreira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Napoleon Dziedelonis. The goal made the score 3-3. Zuberbühler FC's Saul Lamberto was substituted for Mariano Berart. Saul Baumer took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Felipinho Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Raul Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zuberbühler FC fully deserved thier win.
