The audience thought a goal was coming when Amílton Nunes got free with Fodor Daniel in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, ◇Mz.梦◆Parma Calcio 1913's Everardo Abreu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Boros Benedek hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waldemar Kita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 62 played minutes, Hungary's Antal Valentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Waldemar Kita came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hungary reached it. After 63 minutes ◇Mz.梦◆Parma Calcio 1913's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. In the 65th minute Amílton Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
