Pipon Pipon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jannes Ruttens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Francesco Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon got a freekick which was hit by Ronalds Koeman. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 27th minute of play. Nicky Bryson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Pipon Pipon's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannes Ruttens came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesario Irazu to maneuver through the defense. After 41 minutes, Cristóvão Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Pipon Pipon and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C. A. Pipon Pipon getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Cristóvão Ortiz hit a great ball. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon got a freekick which was hit by Ronalds Koeman. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicky Bryson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jannes Ruttens made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Jannes Ruttens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gijsbert ter Kruimer sped through C. A. Pipon Pipon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jannes Ruttens. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Jannes Ruttens made a huge save. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Bryson in the 74th minute of the match. Lars Meesters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jannes Ruttens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm McIntosh in the 78th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. In the 86th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merlin Riley to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Nicky Bryson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when C. A. Pipon Pipon's Malcolm McIntosh shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
