Reko-Recko 03™'s Leandro de Almeida managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chris Mergenthaler in the 93 minute of the game. After having played for 95 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Reko-Recko 03™ had won after a very even match.
