In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's goalkeeper Deilmison Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléberson Leal took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 76 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. 80 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Tinoco came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Deilmison Kubala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison Kubala in the 94th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
