An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Varela in the 12th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 22nd minute of the match. Tiago Moraes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eddie Willis hit a great ball. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Azevedo in the 27th minute of the match. Luiz Guilherme Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. Khalid Kennedy made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Sebastião Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Betão Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betão Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 minutes, Sebastião Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandelocos and the England players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Sobis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Khalid Kennedy came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Sobis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Sobis to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sebastião Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastião Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Micah Macdonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilson do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Micah Macdonald ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th minute, Micah Macdonald made a precise shot to the right of Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 63rd minute Henry Tormes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Tormes came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivo Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in England reached it. Caelan Hayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilson do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 72nd minute of play. Khalid Kennedy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Sobis's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Rafael Sobis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Azevedo in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Luiz Guilherme Varela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khalid Kennedy. Kyle Cox kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Many of England's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. England may have spent more time on the ball, but Bandelocos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
