Veto Steller had several of the France's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Maxime Durand as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 42nd minute, Erasmo Merchant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krystian Żmuda was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Bruneau. In the 52nd minute, Aurelian Remus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, AFC Richmond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sanford Glenn to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camille Baume got free with Hubert Sharp in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Krystian Żmuda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The AFC Richmond fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when AFC Richmond's Krystian Żmuda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st minute, Krystian Żmuda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. France's Remy Dupuy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dewayne Michaud, made in the 84th minute of the game. Frank Peletier kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krystian Żmuda in the 88th minute of play. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krystian Żmuda in the 89th minute of play. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krystian Żmuda in the 91st minute of the match. After 93 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Camille Baume. France's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because AFC Richmond had won, even though France had held more of the ball.
