Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Macedo started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 3rd minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper James Beadle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. James Beadle had in the 6thth minute some difficulties stopping Gijsbert ter Kruimer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 6th minute, Vicente Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 7th minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper James Beadle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Beadle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Macedo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Lars Meesters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Meesters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper James Beadle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. James Beadle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GD Almargense's goalie prevented a goal. James Beadle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. James Beadle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to GD Almargense getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jorge Lameirinhas hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Beadle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 57th minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper James Beadle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of James Beadle, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with James Beadle in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. James Beadle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 63rd minute of the match. James Beadle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars Meesters went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute, Rogério Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, GD Almargense's Leandro Soeiro got a free kick in the 81st minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. James Beadle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goalkeeper James Beadle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 91st minute. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and James Beadle quite easily take care of the ball. David Eikelkamp in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of James Beadle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 94 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but James Beadle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GD Almargense's James Beadle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 95th minute of play.
