Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Macedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. James Beadle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in GD Almargense's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. James Beadle came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Pepi got free with Fodor Daniel in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GD Almargense's Ricardo Pepi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. GD Almargense's James Beadle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to GD Almargense getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ricardo Cabral hit a great ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but James Beadle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, GD Almargense's Luís Noronha made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. James Beadle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balazs Lajos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 36th minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper James Beadle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Pepi in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Rogério Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by GD Almargense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GD Almargense's James Beadle did a great save. Balazs Lajos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but James Beadle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Ferreira during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Beadle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with James Beadle in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, GD Almargense's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Antal Valentins short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got James Beadle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but James Beadle made a huge save. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. James Beadle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After 76 played minutes GD Almargense got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Campos. James Beadle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 77th minute of the match. Antal Valentins short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got James Beadle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with James Beadle in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolau Esparteiro to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. James Beadle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. James Beadle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The GD Almargense support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
