Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 4th minute of play forced Star Red Brasil - DMZ's goalkeeper Baykan Turatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykan Turatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Meesters in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baykan Turatekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Cardozo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baykan Turatekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 14th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Nico Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Star Red Brasil - DMZ booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kees Mooiweer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egbert Nijveldt made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 36th minute. The corner led Netherlands's Lars Meesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Baykan Turatekin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Nurkan Tümkut got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Baykan Turatekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 54 played minutes Star Red Brasil - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Coutinho. 56 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baykan Turatekin. Wim Wilmes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Baykan Turatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 65th minute of play. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Luís Fabiano Tasso was substituted for Isaltino Goiano. Baykan Turatekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baykan Turatekin, 0-3. Star Red Brasil - DMZ's Baykan Turatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 81st minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baykan Turatekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Nurkan Tümkut hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Baykan Turatekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
