Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. Matias Ler hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Hipolito Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes, Denis Mon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de América and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Denis Mon kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Hipolito Matro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matias Ler charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Ler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Ler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Hipolito Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Matro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Estudiantes de América defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Matro. The Estudiantes de América fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Matro should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Matro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Hipolito Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 28th minute of play. Hipolito Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hipolito Matro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Estudiantes de América players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Argoitz was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Hipolito Matro in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Bautista in the 62nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Estudiantes de América's corner Ezequiel Luke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's David Eikelkamp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hipolito Matro. That made the score 0-5 after 67 minutes of play. Estudiantes de América's Filiberto Ourente was substituted for Denis Mon. Hipolito Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Matro made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Hipolito Matro was a little too slow when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-7. Estudiantes de América's Hipolito Matro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Estudiantes de América from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, David Eikelkamp made a precise shot to the right of Hipolito Matro. Estudiantes de América's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 84th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Hipolito Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Hipolito Matro 84 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Gustavo Bautista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estudiantes de América's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Adrian Ospetsu hit a great ball. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Matro. Hipolito Matro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10.
