Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Hipolito Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 5th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Hipolito Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hipolito Matro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito Matro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 13th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Hipolito Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th play minute Elias Argoitz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Casper Claes. 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Matro. Estudiantes de América's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Hipolito Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Hipolito Matro. Estudiantes de América's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Matro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Melchor Evarado kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Dervaux came free, but Hipolito Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hipolito Matro quite easily take care of the ball. Elias Argoitz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Casper Claes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Bautista hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Hipolito Matro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Hipolito Matro in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Yves Dervaux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Ricardo Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Matro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hipolito Matro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 82nd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Hipolito Matro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Hipolito Matro in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Estudiantes de América fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgium were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
