Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Elias Argoitz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 minutes, Raul Caetano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portugal and the Estudiantes de América players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raul Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Denis Mon charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Mon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 minutes, Ignacio Donostia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de América and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Ignacio Donostia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Barreto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hipolito Matro. Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Elias Argoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hipolito Matro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Denis Mon. Hipolito Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim stood somewhat misplaced when Elias Argoitz came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. In the 31st minute, Fabricio Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Hipolito Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Matro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Matro. Estudiantes de América's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 46th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Moura to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Bautista in the 48th minute.

In the 52nd minute, one of Estudiantes de América:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Estudiantes de América. 1-3 came through a penalty shot after 54 played minutes, when Portugal:s Felipe Barreto calmly waited for Estudiantes de América:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Hipolito Matro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Moura in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hipolito Matro, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Ekialde in the 68th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Argoitz in the 69th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Moura took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Matro. Hipolito Matro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Estudiantes de América's Javier Markel was substituted for Melchor Evarado. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Filiberto Ourente replaced Denis Mon. Hipolito Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 78th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Ourente. Bartolomeu Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Hipolito Matro made a huge save. Elias Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 83rd minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Hipolito Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Hipolito Matro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolomeu Dias. Bartolomeu Diass short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Hipolito Matro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Lino Ekialde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. The Portugal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
