Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Moscatelli came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Moscatelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Moscatelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Diego Tozzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Moscatelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ciro Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 15th minute of play. Ciro Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 27 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Moscatelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciro Moscatelli came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Ciro Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Scofield Vinciguerra in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Acilia Town getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Robert Wojno hit a great ball. Franco Ucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Moscatelli. Acilia Town's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dieguinho Tande to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes, Acilia Town's Diego Tozzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnout Reekers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Acilia Town reached it. Ciro Moscatelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Acilia Town's Ciro Moscatelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 69th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Ucci in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acilia Town the free kick. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Ucci came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes Acilia Town got a freekick which was hit by Robert Wojno. In the 88th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ciro Moscatelli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ciro Moscatelli didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, David Eikelkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but David Eikelkamp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Moscatelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute Dieguinho Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
