SARI ZEYBEK's Tahsin Gurbet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 25th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Germany's Albin Holweck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tahsin Gurbet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Ahmet Çağrı Akkaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Ali Ömer Resai scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

56 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's Tuna Akyazıcıoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th match minute, SARI ZEYBEK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sungurbey Demiray to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute of the game Sungurbey Demiray made a throw-in which Tuna Akyazıcıoğlu played forward. The Germany supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Germany would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
