Dong Xuan Xi charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Dong Xuan Xi got a free kick in the 18th minute. The throw-in from Valdir Neves in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Rogério Alagoano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rogério Alagoano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Goiás Esporte Clube's Rogério Alagoano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Marcus Diniz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Daniel Schmidt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Schmidt really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Valdir Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goiás Esporte Clube and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Daniel Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 67 minutes into the game, Valdir Neves threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Malte Schiele quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 69th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. The throw-in from Valdir Neves in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. When Goiás Esporte Clube's Rogério Alagoano in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mike Tyson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball.
