Sokol Narev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sokol Narev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sokol Narev. Sunkens Surtröjor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Sunkens Surtröjor's Sokol Narev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 22nd minute of play. Sokol Narev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Sunkens Surtröjor's Victor Blom got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Victor Blom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Victor Blom made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Laércio Coutinho however managed to control. Victor Blom succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 43rd playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Blom was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Almeida. If Victor Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. Victor Blom took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. 62 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's Victor Blom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Victor Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Victor Blom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Victor Blom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Sunkens Surtröjor made a substitution. Anton Galle replaced Victor Blom. 76 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Sokol Narev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Faustino Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunkens Surtröjor the free kick. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Sunkens Surtröjor's Anton Galle. But to his dismay, Anton Galle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Sunkens Surtröjor's Anton Galle got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Galle in the 89th minute of play. Anton Galle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
