After having played for 13 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Éder Neto got a free kick in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 15th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Waldemar Matorin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when D.J. Gol got free with Tommy Kahn in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Black Rose 1979's Waldemar Matorin in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 36th minute Waldemar Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Matorin in the 37th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo-Nicolás Pérez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. The supporters of Germany booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Florin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes, Waldemar Matorin made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Garcia to maneuver through the defense. D.J. Gol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Black Rose 1979 reached it. Black Rose 1979 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
