With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when 柯辉崇 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邵邦沙 in the 6th minute of play. 邵邦沙 struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. In the 17th minute of the match, 柯辉崇 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 邵邦沙 scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 郭风战 charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 郭风战 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, 曲扬磊 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 38th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, 邵邦沙 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, 柯辉崇 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 柯辉崇 in the 69th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 柯辉崇 went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 柯辉崇 in the 77th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邓瑜兴 in the 79th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邵邦沙, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 林岚建 kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
