Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Björn Magnusson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wander Suzanne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Keld Paulsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The throw-in from Lane Velasco in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Magnusson in the 9th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charlotte FC's Clemente Clemente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Antoine Hankins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charlotte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. A collision led to Charlotte FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Antoine Hankins hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Björn Magnusson got free with Keld Paulsen in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kareem Stoddard hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Charlotte FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Steen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Charlotte FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olav Graversen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaja Jamak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Wander Suzanne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charlotte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wander Suzanne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41stth minute of the game Björn Magnusson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikkel Wulff kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The long shot by Kareem Stoddard in the 43rd minute really tested Keld Paulsen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Björn Magnusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Wander Suzanne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kareem Stoddard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Olav Graversen got a free kick in the 66th minute. A collision led to Charlotte FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Felix Dias hit a great ball. After 69 minutes, Kaja Jamak made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 74 played minutes Charlotte FC got a freekick which was hit by Kareem Stoddard. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Clemente Clemente made a huge save. Felix Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Clemente Clemente was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Chris Nygaard. Kareem Stoddard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Wander Suzanne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charlotte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wander Suzanne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antoine Hankins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wander Suzanne in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Kareem Stoddard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charlotte FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Charlotte FC fully deserved thier win.
