Potrero's Karol Borowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Verdun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Terra in the 5th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Errecaborda AFC were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after C. A. Potrero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emílio Terra took the corner. Karol Borowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. If Emílio Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes of play, C. A. Potrero's Karol Borowski made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmond Verdun was left in no man's land by his defense there! C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Ado in the 18th minute of play. Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Karol Borowski 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Karol Borowskis short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Edmond Verdun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Terra in the 27th minute of the match. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Borowski in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Emílio Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Terra in the 33rd minute of play. C. A. Potrero's Karol Borowski got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Borowski in the 40th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Potrero's Emil Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Terra in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joe Tate made a kick off. Emil Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda AFC's zone, Karol Borowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal and Karol Borowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Wladyslaw Popowicz put in a rough tackle. C. A. Potrero's Denis Escobar was substituted for Mauro Silvino. 58 minutes into the game, one of C. A. Potrero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 73 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Silviano. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Montrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Arendarski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Ado in the 89th minute. Many of Errecaborda AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Errecaborda AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but C. A. Potrero were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
