In the 17th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Ferdinand to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philip Walter got free with Pankracy Glogowski in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Goasdoue in the 25th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Goasdoue's shot from short distance in the 26th minute.
